MANILA – Santos Knight Frank, a leading real estate consultancy, marked the culmination of International Women’s Month with an insightful roundtable event, Women O’ Clock, attended by seasoned veterans and industry aspirants. The brunch event was held at the prestigious Manila House in Taguig City.
Mardi Mapa-Suplido, Chief Operating Officer for Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., jumpstarted the discussion with a presentation. It covers gender diversity’s future in real estate, overcoming biases, and fostering a supportive environment for women leaders.
“When you have gender diversity in your office or team, the employees will feel heard and valued. Again, it’s not just recognizing, but [also] celebrating that difference,” Mapa-Suplido said.
Each participant engaged in candid conversations. From sharing hurdles they’ve overcome, and lessons they’ve learned, to strategies they’ve employed to navigate real estate. Their dialogue provided insights into the industry’s intricacies, offering a wealth of knowledge to aspirants and seasoned practitioners alike.
“Through Women o’ Clock, [we want to] explore new horizons, challenge old paradigms, and pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable real estate industry,” added Monica Gonzalez, Director of Occupier Services at Santos Knight Frank.
*Lastly, we’re giving ULI Philippines a huge thanks for helping make this event possible.
